·         Anyone can apply either through online or a paper format application and these forms can be downloaded from the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website.

·         One can get the application package from the CIC website or from the local visa office in their area or from the Canadian embassy or from the consul office in their home country.

·         Some students need to get a permit for temporary residence if they are mentioned in the list of designated countries which you can check on CIC website. Although this step in not adding the worries as both processes go simultaneously and do not require additional time.

·         While getting the application package one has to answer few questions at the CIC website which will determine their eligibility for applying online study permit of Canada. In the meantime, they will also provide the list of necessary documents required for applying.

·         If one passes the eligibility criteria then they will receive a unique code called as personal checklist code, it is valid for 60 days only. This code is required to submit the application online so it’s better to take a print out for reference in the future.

·         The printed page will be containing an estimated amount of fees to be paid along with few guidelines and a list of documents needed in the application process.

·         To apply one has to create a My CIC account with the help of that unique code mentioned above. Once you are logged in you have to enter personal details along with the electronic copies of the necessary documents.

Your application will be completed after the submission of the documents, payment of fees and fill all the required details.
